“Applying Horizon Group’s innovative approach to the Star Wars brand has enabled us to make science subjects even more accessible to fans of all ages,” said Evan Buzzerio, Chief Commercial Officer & Partner at Horizon Group USA.
Horizon Group USA has launched a line of Star Wars STEM kits.
The first products to launch within the collection include Star Wars Slime Jars – part of Horizon Group USA’s SLIMYGLOOP brand. The four slimes are inspired by the Mandalorian, Stormtroopers, Grogu and Darth Vader, and allow fans to learn about the science of compounds through hands-on play and educational fact cards.
“STEM-based activities have played a strong part in the expansion of Horizon Group’s portfolio since the beginning, driven by our CEO, Roshan Wijerama, and his passion for supporting children’s education,” said Evan Buzzerio, Chief Commercial Officer & Partner at Horizon Group USA.
“Applying Horizon Group’s innovative approach to the Star Wars brand – backed by the educational content developed by research scientists, Drs. Balint and Lita Kacsoh – has enabled us to make science subjects even more accessible to fans of all ages.”
Star Wars Slime Jars are now available at Amazon and Barnes & Noble in the US. Other kits to launch in the range include Star Wars Lightsaber Themed Engineering Kits that allow fans to assemble two lightsabers using LEDs and circuit science. Elsewhere, fans can grow their own Kyber crystals with the Star Wars Grow & Glow Kyber Crystals kit.
Additional Star Wars-inspired STEM-focused sets will launch later this year.
