Based on the comic book anthology, Creepshow is a story-building game where players become Creeps and weave ‘twisted tales’.
Skybound Tabletop – a division of Skybound Entertainment – is launching a board game based on the Creepshow brand.
Releasing this fall, Creepshow: The Suspense Building Game is based on the comic book anthology from Skybound, which was originally inspired by Greg Nicotero’s hit Shudder TV series – produced and licensed by Cartel Entertainment.
Creepshow is a story-building game where players become Creeps and weave ‘twisted tales’. Creeps create chains of story cards and secretly fill them with Suspense. At key moments in the story, when tension is highest, Creeps can bet on the amount of Suspense to score big. But other Creeps can sabotage the story.
Creepshow: The Suspense Building Game was designed by Skybound’s Ben Kepner and Dan Stong, and features artwork from various designers from the original Creepshow comic book anthology.
The deal was brokered by Striker Entertainment and Brian Witten is overseeing on behalf of Nicotero’s Monster Agency Productions.
