David Born launches Born to License podcast

David Born has launched a Born to License podcast, dedicated to breaking down the complexities of the licensing industry.

Hosted by Born, the podcast aims to make licensing more accessible by sharing real-life stories, expert insights and practical knowledge drawn from his nearly 20-year career in the industry.

“Licensing is everywhere, but so few people truly understand how it works,” said David Born, CEO of Born Licensing and Born to License.

“This podcast is my way of pulling back the curtain, making licensing exciting, approachable, and showing how businesses of all sizes can leverage it to grow.”

The first season of Born to License will cover key topics such as licensing negotiations, deal structures, product development and the role of licensors and licensees. There will be a mix of solo episodes and industry interviews, with season two set to feature conversations with leading licensing professionals.

The Born to License Podcast is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, and all major podcast platforms. New episodes land every two weeks.
