Sesame Street and Bluey come together for Bluey Book Reads

“A Sesame Street-Bluey collaboration is the perfect way to provide entertaining and engaging content to fans of both popular series,” said Jenny Gioia, VP of Content and Programming at Sesame Workshop.

BBC Studios Global Digital Brands, BBC Studios Kids & Family and Ludo Studio have detailed the latest line-up for series two of Bluey Book Reads.

The digital series – which sees celebrities read Bluey storybooks – kicks off with a Sesame Street collaboration that sees Elmo and Cookie Monster read the lift-the-flap board book, ‘What Games Should We Play?’.

“We are excited to have Elmo and Cookie Monster encourage playful learning and a love of reading with Bluey Book Reads.”

The Bluey Book Reads series has garnered over 75 million views to date across Bluey’s digital channels. New episodes go live every fortnight on the official Bluey YouTube channel, and the full series two release schedule looks like this:

• April 15th: Elmo & Cookie Monster – ‘What Games Should We Play?’
• April 29th: Helena Bonham Carter – ‘Queens’
• May 13th: Rose Byrne + Han Ga-In (English + Korean) – ‘Baby Race’
• May 27th: Diane Kruger (German) reads ‘Camping’ and ‘The Creek’
• May 27th: Elijah Wood reads ‘The Pool’
• June 10th: Sophie Okonedo reads ‘Sleepytime’
• June 24th: Kurt Fearnley + Camille Cottin (English + French) read ‘Camping’
• July 8th: Meg Washington reads ‘Bob Bilby’
• July 22nd: Auliʻi Cravalho reads ‘Shadowlands’
• August 5th: Michael Sheen reads ‘Road Trip’
