Netflix is launching a reality competition series around Squid Game.
Squid Game: The Challenge, a 10-epsiode co-production with Studio Lambert, will see 456 real players enter the game in pursuit of a $4.56 million cash prize.
Contestants compete through a series of games inspired by the original show, plus some new additions, and recruitment is open now at SquidGameCasting.com.
“Squid Game took the world by storm with Director Hwang’s captivating story and iconic imagery,” said Brandon Riegg, VP of Unscripted and Documentary Series at Netflix.
