“It’s a delightful day out for children to explore this lovely 240-acre estate,” said estate general manager Adam Streeter.
Aardman’s Shaun the Sheep is starring in a new ‘Hide & Sheep’ trail at Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens.
Visitors can enjoy the Grade I Listed woodland gardens as they follow the trail and discover QR code markers along the way. Using the Hide & Sheep app, visitors can scan the markers to reveal Shaun in augmented reality hiding out in a farmyard scene and pose alongside him.
To finish the trail, players must complete their stamp collection, take photos and create a collage of their day with Shaun the Sheep.
“We will also be hosting model making workshops for families to create their own Shaun the Sheep,” said estate general manager Adam Streeter.
“It’s a delightful day out for children to explore this lovely 240-acre estate and its plant collection and animal life, see the wallabies and deer and visit our famous Beyond the Doll’s House exhibition. We are always looking for new and exciting activities for families while also protecting the Grade I listed gardens for future generations, using augmented reality is a fun way to achieve this.”
The ‘Hide & Sheep’ trail is open from March 25th to April 23rd.
