Jack Daniel’s has launched two new fashion collaborations to mark the launch of Classic Remix, an initiative designed to support up and coming fashion designers.
Chicago-based designer Sheila Rashid has launched a limited-edition pair of overalls inspired by Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey, while Ouigi Theodore – creative director of The Brooklyn Circus – has designed an exclusive varsity jacket paying homage to Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple.
The Classic Remix initiative will see Jack Daniel’s match 100 percent of sales of the two launches to create two grants, totalling up to $40,000, that will go to aspiring fashion designers.
“Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey and Tennessee Apple created Classic Remix to showcase and amplify authentic cutting-edge designers and provide opportunities for those up and coming,” said Keenan Harris, Senior Multicultural Marketing Manager for Jack Daniel’s.
“We value the impact that fashion has on culture and expression, and we are excited to pour into these creatives to nurture future fashion icons.”
