With BLE fast approaching, we picked the brains of regular attendees and exhibitors on how to make the most of the show. Up next is The National Gallery’s Director of Procurement and Brand Licensing, Judith Mather.
Judith, thanks for making time. When did you first attend BLE?
2004!
What’s been your best BLE memory?
Meeting our Delicious Art partners IG Designs for Boots and our international agents in Japan, Korea and China.
Delicious Art – great range! And what makes for a great BLE meeting?
Keeping to time, having a concise brand deck and guidelines to present – and good diary management.
What’s your key aim for this year’s BLE?
To look for brand collaborations for our NG200 celebrations – The National Gallery is 200 years old in 2024! We are also looking for a kids collaboration to introduce great art from a young age.
Before we let you go, can you give us a BLE tip or recommendation? Could be a restaurant, pub, venue or show advice…
Wear trainers!
Noted! Last question: Where is The National Gallery housed at this year’s show?
We’re at B270.
Great stuff. Thanks again!
