NFL’s Origins programme is designed to highlight London designers and the communities they support.
The NFL has debuted the latest collections to launch as part of its Origins programme, designed to highlight London designers and the communities they support.
The two latest collections come from Idris Elba’s Don’t Stop Your Future brand and sustainable apparel firm Plant Faced Clothing. Don’t Stop Your Future brand works to end knife crime and amplify the voices of marginalised communities, while Plant Faced Clothing supports the non-harming or exploitation of humans, animals or plants with fabrics that are 100% ethically made.
Both collections draw on the NFL’s uniforms and iconography, with Don’t Stop Your Future’s designs are available in black, cream and forest green. Plant Faced Clothing’s shirts and hoodies feature playful cartoon-style designs in cream, black and grey.
“We successfully introduced Origins, the NFL’s grassroots merchandise programme spotlighting local design talent, to the UK at last year’s NFL London Games,” said Salha Latif, Vice President of International Consumer Products at NFL.
“We’re thrilled to be working with purpose-led designers Don’t Stop Your Future and Plant Faced Clothing this season, to showcase their passion for change alongside the NFL’s unique influence on street fashion in the UK.”
Origins: An NFL Collection will be available at Dukes Cupboard in London from midday on Friday, October 13th to Saturday, October 14th.
