Wrexham and Aviation Gin have launched a limited-edition Aviation American Gin x Wrexham AFC bottle.
The partnership is to celebrate the takeover of the club by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney – who also own Aviation Gin.
“It’s no secret that I love Aviation American Gin – I truly believe it is the best gin on the planet,” said Ryan Reynolds.
“Rob and I are ecstatic to have won the approval of the Wrexham fans and the League and this bottle is for them. It’s a small first step on what will hopefully be a legendary underdog story.”
Wrexham AFC Commercial Manager, Geoff Scott, added: “The unique combination of our club’s heritage and community focus with the creativity and profile of our new owners is immediately opening-up new opportunities to work with brilliant brands at a local, national and global level.
“So, we are thrilled to have Aviation Gin with us at the start of this exciting new era for the club and expect them to be joined by other world-class brands very soon.”
The limited-edition bottle sees the classic Aviation American Gin bottle emblazoned with the official Wrexham AFC logo, presented in a clear bevelled glass bottle, reminiscent of the Art Deco era.
The Limited-Edition release is made up of 6,000 bottles and is distributed in the UK by Proof Drinks, who will continue the brand’s expansion within the British gin market.
