With Brand Licensing Europe fast approaching, we picked the brains of regular attendees and exhibitors on how to make the most of the show. Up next is Robyn Cowling, Brand Director for Rocky Horror Show at Golden Goose…
Robyn, it’s great to chat! When did you first attend BLE?
I think it must’ve been between 2008 and 2010… Several moons ago!
What’s your best BLE memory?
The feeling of re-connecting with people after some time out of the industry was very special. There’s nothing quite like the combination of a familiar smile on the train home and the aching legs of a show well-walked!
Absolutely! Now, what makes for a good BLE meeting?
My favourites are those which take place mid-way through a project or deal. Providing an opportunity to talk collaboratively, understand the work ahead together and look forward to tangible results. This year’s BLE will be my first show brand side and I couldn’t have picked a better client! The enthusiasm people have for Rocky Horror Show sets the tone for the meeting and allows people to engage on both a personal and professional level – the dream!
What’s your key objective for this year’s BLE?
To bring Rocky Horror Show to the forefront of people’s minds. Momentum is building for the brand and I’m excited to share that energy!

I usually stay one tube stop or so away which avoids expensive hotels and means I can collect my thoughts on the way there.
