With BLE fast approaching, we picked the brains of regular attendees and exhibitors on how to make the most of the show. Up next is Katie Ball, Commercial Director (DTR) at Paramount.
Katie, thanks for making time. When did you first attend BLE?
My first experience was during my first job in the licensing industry as a fresh-faced intern at Nickelodeon back in 2011… I think this is my 9th time at the show!
What’s been your best BLE memory?
Everyone shows up with great spirit and great ideas, so BLE holds some great memories for me. I also remember the Hoff!
Ha! The Hoff has popped up a few times in these chats! And what makes for a good BLE meeting?
It’s so easy to fill your diary with back to back meetings over the three days, but try and avoid it all costs! Keep an open mind as every meeting is different. Also, punctuality – always!
Good answer. And what’s your key aim for this year’s BLE?
Connecting with our Fashion DTR partners. Paramount has incredible IP portfolio and upcoming content slate, so the variety of opportunities and conversations make it incredibly exciting.
