“We’re expanding all the ways Blippi and his best friend Meekah show up for kids and families,” said Katelynn Heil, General Manager of Blippi for Moonbug.
Moonbug has detailed expansion plans for Blippi, the second largest brand in its portfolio.
Content-wise, Blippi is expanding through three new formats, including a new Blippi and Meekah’s Road Trip Podcast. The 20-episode audio series follows Blippi and Meekah as they take a road trip to places like a Monster Truck Rally, a Rainforest and the Prehistoric Dinosaur Era.
Elsewhere, Blippi will be featuring on Sirius XM’s Moonbug Radio, as Blippi and Meekah host recurring programs like ‘Afternoon Dance Party’ and ‘Weekends with Blippi’.
On the consumer products front, Jazwares is launching My Friend Meekah in August. This 16-inch plush makes over 17 different sounds, such as “Thanks for being my friend,” when you squeeze her tummy. Also launching from Jazwares in August is the motorised Blippi Dump Truck
Elsewhere Disguise is launching a Meekah Halloween costume for kids. This follows the launch of Disguise’s Blippi costume, which was the number one searched for costume on Halloweencostumes.com in 2022.

“We love being able to inspire curiosity in kids everywhere and with our fans’ support we’re expanding all the ways Blippi and his best friend Meekah show up for kids and families. Blippi is truly a grassroots brand and we can’t wait for our fans to go on the Ultimate Road Trip with the new Blippi and Meekah podcast this summer or head out on field trips with their new Meekah doll.”
