The neighbourhoods will boast ‘distinctively designed spaces, unique amenities and Disney’s brand of world-renowned service’.
Disney has detailed plans to develop new communities and neighbourhoods in the US boasting ‘distinctively designed spaces, unique amenities and Disney’s brand of world-renowned service’.
The initiative – called Storyliving by Disney – will see the development of a range of homes, including condominiums and single-family homes, as well as neighbourhoods for residents aged 55 and over.
At each location, Disney cast members will operate the community association and through a club membership, Disney will also provide access to experiences, such as wellness programming, live entertainment and seminars.
The first site to launch as part of Storyliving by Disney will be Cotino, built in the heart of the Coachella Valley in Rancho Mirage, California. As well as homes, plans include the development of a hotel, shops, restaurants and a 24-acre oasis.
Cotino will also boast a voluntary club membership offering access to a waterfront clubhouse, a club-only beach area and recreational water activities, as well as Disney entertainment and activities throughout the year for an additional fee.
Other locations in the US are also being explored. For more information, head to https://www.storylivingbydisney.com/index.html#about.
