Goose Island celebrates 50 years of Cadbury Creme Eggs with limited-edition beer

Goose Island Beer Company launched a limited-edition Cadbury Creme Egg beer to celebrate the brand’s 50th birthday.

The Golden Goo-Beer-Lee Creme Stout, which sold out in minutes, is a blend of malted barley, oats, wheat and milk sugar, as well as cacao nibs and vanilla beans to ‘deliver a celebratory beer that is smooth, rich and eggselently balanced.’

“The flavours of a stout are already quite complementary to the Creme Egg, but I wanted to make sure when you crack open the beer you knew immediately what the inspiration was and really big up the chocolate and creaminess of the beer, while keeping it super drinkable,” said Goose Island Master Brewer, Andrew Walton.
