Hachette Boardgames brings Wednesday: Creatures and Outcasts to the UK

Hachette Boardgames UK is bringing MNKY Entertainment’s Wednesday: Creatures and Outcasts card game to the UK in September.

Designed by René Groen, the game – inspired by the Netflix show – sees players play cards on a stack where each card must be higher than the previous one. The goal is to be the first to get rid of all your cards. Any cards left in your hand at the end of a round count as penalty points.

The twist is that there is a second stack of cards featuring characters from the Wednesday TV series. As they are brought into play, they introduce unexpected changes to the game and radically alter the rules. After five rounds, the player with the best score wins.
