Jeni’s teams with Dolly Parton for limited edition ice cream flavour

Sales of Strawberry Pretzel Pie will benefit Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, a book gifting initiative that gives free books to children.

Ice cream firm Jeni’s has teamed up with Dolly Parton to launch a limited-edition flavour, Strawberry Pretzel Pie.

Sales of the ice cream will benefit Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, a book gifting initiative that gives free books to children.

‘Dolly Parton is the person we all want to be when we grow up: An unstoppable force for good with the power to bring people together,’ read a statement from Jeni’s, adding: ‘Strawberry Pretzel Pie is our ode to the Queen of Country and a throwback to the triple decker pie from the potlucks of our youths.’

The flavour is described as ‘layers of salty pretzel streusel, subtly sweet and effortlessly tangy cream cheese ice cream, and lipstick red strawberry sauce’ and marks the latest celebrity collab for Jeni’s.

Last year saw the company team up with rapper Tyler, the Creator on a new flavour called Pluto Bleu, inspired by blue raspberry slushies.
