Rocket Licensing – licensing agent in the UK and Eire for Horrible Science – has united the brand with Kew Gardens for six weeks of Horrible Science-inspired summertime activities.
From Saturday July 20th to Sunday September 1st, Kew Gardens will play host to an interactive trail based on the book series. The trail will span everything from the mysterious lives of ‘Foul Fungi’ to the hidden world of ‘Revolting Roots’.
With input from Kew’s own scientific and horticultural experts and inspired by the books, a series of interactive installations across Kew will also tell guests about areas like ‘Fiendish Flowers’, ‘Greedy Greenery’ and ‘Vicious Veg’.
Horrible Science books will be available at the Kew Gardens shop throughout the six weeks of the Horrible Science trail and Horrible Science-themed food will be served at Kew restaurants and cafes. The menu will include dishes like ‘Foul Fungi-Themed Pizza’ and ‘Creepy Courgette Cake’
