LEGO has debuted a raft of upcoming launches in partnership with top car and racing brands.
These include LEGO Speed Champions sets created with McLaren Racing and BMW, LEGO Technic cars from Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula 1 Team and a LEGO Icons car from McLaren and Senna.

“Coming together with a group of partners to create a variety of play experiences for families out there is a great opportunity for the LEGO Group, and we have created vehicles for both adults and kids, so they can enjoy a shared play experience together, as they build. We might all have different cars we prefer, different championships or competitions we like, different racing teams we cheer on, but what unites us is our shared love of exciting racing and incredible cars!”
LEGO ICONS has recreated the 1988 McLaren MP4/4 in collaboration with McLaren Racing and the Senna brand. The set boasts working steering, rod suspension an adjustable rear wing, slick tires, mirrors, a gearshift and a detailed turbocharged V6 engine – as well as an Ayrton Senna minifigure.
Elsewhere, the LEGO Technic Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance comes in two versions, one for adults and a pull-back version for kids. The 1:8 scale model for adults features authentic livery details, a V6 engine with moving pistons, an opening wing, individual suspension, functioning steering and slick tires.
The LEGO Speed Champions 2023 McLaren Formula 1 Race Car includes the black-and-papaya livery as well as design details from the real-life car. The LEGO Speed Champions BMW M4 GT3 and BMW M Hybrid V8 Race Cars pack features two models and two LEGO minifigure drivers.
The new sets launch on March 1st.
