Maestro Media, in association with Brand Central and game designer Steve Gabry, has launched the Kickstarter campaign for Sally Face: Strange Nightmares.
A tabletop adaptation of the popular indie video game, Sally Face: Strange Nightmares is played as a narrative story consisting of multiple chapters, each with their own unique mysteries, challenges and victory conditions.
New mysteries, curses, and items are unlocked as the story progresses, with each requiring a combination of dice rolls and location-specific objects to face off against the final challenge.
The Kickstarter campaign has already smashed its $20k goal, and is sitting on $68k with 30 days of the project still to go.
In addition to the board game, Maestro Media and Steve Gabry are also collaborating on an exclusive Sally Face merchandise line, featuring fan-requested vinyl figures, apparel, home decor, original music and more.
Also planned is a subscription mystery box program – Sally Face: Strange Boxes – with limited edition apparel, merchandise and items featuring collaborations with well-known artists within the gaming, comic and indie sectors. These will be intertwined with an immersive mystery game complete with clues that need to be solved every month.
