Netflix to give anime treatment to Tomb Raider and Skull Island

Netflix and Legendary Television are teaming up on two new anime series, the first based on Legendary’s Skull Island and the second on Square Enix’s Tomb Raider global franchise.

Skull Island will follow shipwrecked characters desperate to escape the most dangerous place on Earth—a mysterious island home to prehistoric monsters, including Kong.

Elsewhere, Lara Croft will make her anime debut in a series that picks up after the events of the Tomb Raider video-game reboot trilogy.
