“It was important that we worked with a company with a genuine passion for the art and craft industry on our first major foray into this product category,” said RHS Licensing Manager Cathy Snow.
The Royal Horticultural Society has signed its first licence for art and craft products with West Design Products.
The first products in the range will launch in May and will include items for both adults and children. The adult range will include soft craft kits, papercraft products and art sets, while the children’s range will span scrapbooks and painting-by-numbers sets.
The imagery of plants and birds used in both the packaging and the products themselves are inspired by the RHS Lindley Collections of botanical art.

“West Design Products is the perfect partner, bringing expertise, experience and exceptional design skills to a range that will appeal to people who love art and craft – whatever their skill levels.”
Jo Bray, Managing Director – Sales and Marketing at West Design Products, added: “We are thrilled to have produced this marvellous range for the UK’s favourite gardening charity. It has been a delight to work with this prestigious brand and its unmatched design assets on a range of products that we are certain will be enormously popular with art and craft enthusiasts across the UK.”
A follow-up collection will debut in autumn/winter 2024, including kits for sewing, embroidery, macrame, quilting, wall hanging and flower press. More products are also planned for 2025.
