Surya has teamed up with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation for two new handmade rug collections, named Transcendence and Luxuries.
The designs are a testament to Wright’s iconic style, featuring geometric precision, organic motifs and a ‘fusion of nature and structure’.
The hand knotted Transcendence collection is made from New Zealand wool and celebrates the architect’s practice of abstracting the natural forms around him into their essential, underlying geometry. The hand loomed Luxuries range draws its inspiration from the rectilinear grids that Wright used as the foundation for his decorative and architectural designs.
Both collections feature a monochromatic palette and a portion of purchase price supports the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation’s work to inspire people to embrace architecture for better living through meaningful connections to nature, the arts and each other.

The new designs will be unveiled at the Spring High Point Market in the Surya showroom, across April 11th to 17th.
The partnership was brokered by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation’s licensing agency, Jewel Branding & Licensing.
