TIME Studios teams with Fortnite to create in-game celebration of Martin Luther King

TIME Studios has teamed up with Fortnite to create March Through Time, an in-game experience celebrating the life and legacy of Martin Luther King.


Developed by members of the Fortnite Creative Community, March Through Time teleports players 60 years into the past to a re-imagined Washington, DC called D.C. 63.

In D.C. 63, players can travel to the Lincoln Memorial and the United States National Mall to watch King make his iconic “I Have a Dream” speech.

The Experience will also feature museum-inspired points of interest and quests relating to King’s speech that can completed with other players.

Completing the Dr. King and Civil Rights movement challenges will unlock a D.C. 63 spray for players’ lockers.

Inspired by the work of TIME and their partners — JuVee Productions, Digital Domain, V.A.L.I.S.studio, and Ryot — March Through Time was aided by contributions of American Family Insurance, the DuSable Museum of African American History, and the Estate of Martin Luther King, Jr.
