The themes for this year’s t-shirt design competition were Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel.

Uniqlo has revealed the t-shirt designs that emerged triumphant at this year’s UT Grand Prix competition.

The theme for this year’s competition was Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel. With over 10,000 designs submitted, 13 have been chosen to become tees available to buy from Uniqlo.

The Grand Prize winner was Japan’s Hiroyuki Morita for his Wolverine design.

“I tried to express my interpretation of the character in a straightforward way, pencilling it with a high energy – that’s my distinctive style,” said Morita, adding: “It thrills me to think that a lot of people will see and wear my artwork on a t-shirt.”

Design Prizes were given to four designers who created artwork inspired by Zootropolis, Toy Story 4, Star Wars and The Incredible Hulk.
